FOR its Autumn 2016 accessories collection, London-based brand Aquascutum imbues the traditional with a touch of contemporary, modernising their signature navy handbags with subtle elements from the latest prêt-à-porter pieces.
Each bag, made from soft Aniline leather which is sourced and manufactured in Spain, features a contrasting red base and Van Dyke stitching, matching the undercollar of the new Penryn trench coat. The collection therefore compliments the new season’s trends while remaining distinctly Aquascutum.
Elegant, functional, durable – the bags have been designed to support the 21st century working woman and what’s more, with prices ranging from £165 for a wallet to £650 for a large tote, each comes with an affordable price tag.
To celebrate the launch of the bags, Aquascutum has curated an interactive game – available both in stores and online – in which customers are asked to find five handbags in the hand-drawn illustration of London, below.
